RN An Bourton of Olny 26 yeres old. sick the ever sinc Lent tooke her in her hed hart & backe maried this 7 yeres had but on Child but y^t god hath taken to his mercy. {s} {sic} it holdeth her nowe as an ague shaking her every day. & hat sweateth & is very hot after the shaking & hath as it were a thing lūbring in her chest very corpulent faynt & very feeble. hath a very painfull cough ready to Drawe vp hart & hall w^th it & fetcheth blood very short winded. fetcheth vp fleume & water as cleare as a bell. Hath a Childe of 2 yeere old sucking on her, the childe very poore & will take nothing but the brest can neither go nor speake: borne the saturday fortnight after midsomer 1601 betwene 8 & 9 at night quiet in the day but very vnquiett all night. very cold, swelled in the body of late. the mother nunquā habuit menstrua since she had this child.
